Improved Reproduction
This part was made using an original OEM McCord heat shield and a reproduction Mopar P2946105 as a basis but with improvements on the known issues with part joining failures, dimensional control & form inaccuracy. It appears aesthetically the same once installed with the exception of the improved Tog-L-Lock joining method. This is NOT a licensed part bearing the Chrysler Pentastar and part number which are not easily visible once installed. Color is natural as OEM – not painted.

Material
Made from modern corrosion resistant material the same as used on the modern Hemi (meets Chrysler specifications). Aluminized coating is applied by a hot-dip process and coats the steel with a thin layer of aluminum for superior corrosion and heat protection. The gage is thicker than originals ensuring better dimensional control and part stiffness.
